Various programs offer assistance for environmentally sustainable agriculture projects in Alberta.
Canada-Alberta Farm Stewardship Program (CAFSP)
The deadline for funding under CAFSP is March 31, 2008. Information is available from the program office toll-free at 1-800-667-8567 or the Web site.
Canada Alberta Farm Water Program provides financial and technical assistance towards the cost of long-term on-farm water supply developments completed during the period April 1, 2006 - December 31, 2007. The Alberta Stewardship Network facilitates information exchange, provides support and resources. Services currently offered by the ASN include a toll-free number (1-877-7-ASK-ASN) for directing stewards to existing resources, and Web site, which features stewardship organization profiles, funding resources, scientific and technical information, and group success stories.
