Environmentally sustainable farming practices can go a long way towards preventing conflict with neighbours in rural communities. "So many of the Beneficial Management Practices in the EFP program have their roots in respect — respect for neighbours and respect for the environment," says Dan Moe, a regional team leader for AEFP. "It's hard to have one without the other, and that's the kind of point we try to put across in our workbook and workshops."
