Peer review a 'coaching process'

Many producers consider the peer review stage of the EFP process the most valuable, says Mike Slomp, executive director of AEFP. This part of the process involves review committee members making suggestions and recommendations to the participant, via a facilitator, to help with implementation of Beneficial Management Practices (BMPs). "It's a common sense review by peers that closely resembles the coaching process popular in business circles today," says Slomp.
