Measuring risk the EFP way

November 30, 2006:

The EFP program was developed to help producers identify environmental risks on their farms and ranches. The EFP workbook is a tool to help producers measure risk. Producers who participate in the EFP process use the workbook to measure various categories of risk on a scale of one to four — one being the lowest risk and four the highest. Here's an example to demonstrate how it works:
