Storing pesticides in a unit with an impermeable sealed concrete floor is one of the Beneficial Management Practices (BMPs) for pesticide management. Others include placing a curb around the floor to contain leaks and spills, using a storage facility without a floor drain, checking for leaking or damaged containers daily and keeping clean-up materials available. Also remember to secure the area with signs indicating the storage contents. Ideally, try to store minimal amounts of product.
