Each of the five EFP regions (Peace, Northwest, Northeast, Central and South) is represented by several workshop facilitators who deliver EFP workshops to farmers and ranchers. Because of this, workshops can be held in virtually any community in the province and still be delivered by someone who understands the unique needs of producers in the area.
And thanks to the regularly updated workshop schedule on the AEFP Web site, producers can easily find information on workshops taking place in their communities. If there isn't a workshop already taking place, farmers are encouraged to call their local facilitator and arrange one. "All it takes is a phone call and we'll do our best to arrange a workshop close to you," says AEFP program director Therese Tompkins.
